| Union Pacific 7889 and three other units scream as they slowly bring this long intermodal train down maintrack 1 of the Roseville Sub. Maintrack 1 was originally built buy the Central Pacific railroad on the first line over Donner Pass. Maintrack 2 is seen here at one of the only points in the foothills where both tracks are together, Newcastle (Tunnel 18). |
