A shot taken in the engine shed at Amman, Jordan on the Hejaz Railway. 2-8-2 no. 23, built by the British firm of Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn in 1952, is receiving some new boiler tubes. the scene looks very reminiscent of years ago, yet it was only taken in 2010. This is still a working railway, although with only a small number of services.
