On Friday evenings, Fullerton is one of southern California's most popular railfan gathering places. On August 5th, 2011, the faithful were treated to the sight of an eleven engine B-PHXLAC4-04A (Phoenix AZ to Los Angeles) stack train. Power for this train was ES44DCs 7555 and 7841, Dash 9-44CW 5146, ES44DCs 7608 and 7530, Dash 9-44CWs 5171, 4451 and 4162, ES44DCs 7225 and 7803 and, finally, ES44C4 6714.
