    Remarks & Notes
Off Kilter. No, this not a case of Horizon Unlevel. #9 was built in 1908 by Alco in Manchester with cab and boiler at an angle. On the flanks of Mount Washington, where the grade gets as steep as 37%, the boiler gets close to level, preserving an adequate amount of water over the crown sheet.
