| Light oil fired cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 2/3 7 "Breithorn" is leaving Oberwald up to Gletsch with the last shuttle train of the day and the 2011 season. Till october 02, there is a reduced service over the Furka pass to Realp, then there is winter break. The locomotive was built in 1906 by SLM for the Visp-Zermatt-Bahn and is loaned by owner Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn to Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) since last year, mainly used for the shuttle trains between Oberwald and Gletsch. |
