| As A55 gets a green light towards Meridian on the right, today’s AB29 is lead by the former N&W 6085 running the way she was intended, Long Hood Forward. This unit is one of 13 locomotives rebuilt at the Juniata Diesel shop to low nose “Admiral Cab” short hood forward operation and also in its third consecutive year to be seen by this photographer in Birmingham. Here it is in 2009 and in 2010. |
