Remarks & Notes

Union Pacific Y2300 is a Railpower/MPI GG-20B, but the UP calls these GG20GE. These "Green Goats" were designed by Railpower Technologies, Inc., and built under contract by Motive Power Industries in Boise, Idaho. UPY 2300 was constructed on the frame of UP B23-7 134 (which was ex-Missouri Pacific 4634, originally MP 2323).
