| With 64 loads of corn at the drawbar, engineer Aaron Border has his single SD40-2 moving at track speed coming out of Malinta. This small town was once home to a busy freight yard and also featured a crossing between the DT&I and the Nickel Plate's Clover Leaf line, as well as a DT&I branch to Napoleon. Today, only the tracks of the "Malinta Cutoff" remain. |
