Cascade Green, Armour Yellow, and Cloudy Blue Skies! NS 191 sported some of the 'rarer' lease power on this day. Lead unit HLCX 7073, an Ex. BN/BNSF SD40-2, followed by CITX 2788, an Ex. EMDX Demo SD40-2 with a SD45 shell! The clouds were finally starting to break after a 'wet' system came through the area a couple hours before NS 191's arrivial. While waiting on this train, a CSX Yard Job rumbled into view on its trestle (behind where the photographer is standing), and so I ran to the other side and slipped on the muddy bank. So I suppose the waiting and the taste of the mud was worth this shot! Also, fellow RP Contributor Joe Hinson, caught this same unit, leading the same train, at the same location almost 3 years before this shot HERE!
