For several years, Metrolink leased equipment from other transit agencies, as evidenced by the two trainsets of Sounder cars awaiting their next assignment in San Bernardino, California, on October 20, 2007. The passenger station, with its distinctive domes, was built by the Santa Fe but it now used by Metrolink and Amtrak. Click HERE to see a similar view of the yard as it looked in 1972.
