| DPU passes some trees which were probably part of someone's yard prior to 1993. Valmeyer was largely destroyed in the Summer of 1993 by Mississippi River flooding. Some folks remain, but a new town of Valmeyer was built not long after, and atop the river bluffs. If New Valmeyer floods, we're all in trouble. |
