| I've always loved the wooden railroad trestles. As a child a remember the DW&P passing by the Shopper's City parking lot on the enormous wooden trestle that carried the line over West Duluth and how the wood creaked. That trestle is now long gone having been removed several decades ago. With the impending closure of the Ford Plant it was due time for me to see the the Ford Hauler make this trestle creak under the weight as well. No one knows what the fate of this line may be so get your shots and memories now as it may go the way of the DW&P trestle as well.
