| This is not a display at a railroad museum, but rather two very active pieces of equipment getting a rest on the Santa Maria Valley Railroad. The 61-year-old 70 tonner is still used by the railroad on light days to work their customers in the valley and exchange with the UP in Guadalupe. The passenger car is still good for passenger speeds and is used for special events. (Taken ON RR property with permission.) |
