| The Amtrak Exhibit Train came north from San Antonio off of the Sunset Limited as part of the Texas Eagle train 22. The equipment was placed between the motor for 22 and the Texas Eagle passenger cars. AMTK 85, the lead motor of train 22, pulled ahead to allow AMTK 822, AMTK 406 and the exhibit cars to pull into the station. Here AMTK 85 makes a reverse move to get back to the train 22 cars with the exhibit train clear in the distance. The Texas Eagle train 21 with AMTK 151 waits for 22 to clear so it can depart. The Heartland Flyer train 822 with AMTK 74 and AMTK 6 idle at right. Add in the extra Amtrak P42DC located out of frame and it creates quite the busy station ITC was today. |
