Remarks & Notes

A fine example of a GE 125-ton Electric workhorse stands proudly at Copperton yard just outside Kennecott's Bingham Canyon Copper Mine. This 3000 HP 'Magna Motor' was built in Nov. 1947 and would be retired when the ore haulage lines were dieselized in Dec. 1978.
