| The SP would soon be history, due to disappear into UP the following September. So I spent some time trying to get a few final pictures. I was looking for red noses lettered SP, but these DRGW intruders seemed to follow me around. But sixteen years later I can hardly complain. The snow sheds at the west end of Tunnel 41 were the last of the wooden sheds. UP replaced them with concrete not long after the merger and this is a very different scene today. |
