| Class 47 no. 47375 was heading a convoy of locos to a weekend diesel gala at the Swanage Railway when it developed a major fault.The train was diverted into the Down Loop at Haresfield and just managed to clear the main line before the class 47 suffered further trouble.Here the convoy has just come to a stand with the failed loco pouring smoke.The convoy was rescued some 5 hours later by a class 50 loco.The future of 47375 looks doubtful at the moment. |
