A set of 1992 Tube Stock departs Theydon Bois station on the outer reaches of London's Central line, one stop before the terminus of Epping. This section of the line was originally a conventional railway, with Theydon station (the 'Bois' didn't come until later) being opened by the Great Eastern Railway on the 24th of April 1865, becoming part of the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) in 1923. During the 1940's London Underground's Central line was extended onto this section, with this particular station re-opening for its new purpose on the 25th September 1949.
