| The Whittier Turn has arrived at its port city after a short run from Anchorage. The depot is the canopy to the right of 2002 and the GP38-2 is displaying red markers preparing for its return trip, guided with an RDC on the opposite end simply for its controls. The HEP unit is in the baggage/power car, and the train has since been replaced with a DMU. The sun doesn't shine here from Nov. until Feb. |
