Remarks & Notes

Twenty years ago, one could still find SP through freights along the D&RGW with pure Rio Grande power. SD50 #5513 is pictured leading the EUCHX (Eugene, OR - Chicago, IL) with heavy forest products approaching Storrs Avenue in American Fork, Utah. Note the factory equipped Nathan Five Chime horn atop 5513's cab.
