| Classic shortline railroading right here. Four CAT engine powered geeps belonging to the Red River Valley & Western arrive back in Breckenridge after delivering coal to Minndak. The depot is of GN heritage. GN had a stronghold in this down as well as NP, and Milwaukee Road. Now all that remains is trackage sold to the RRVW by BN. Though BNSF regularly runs freights from Willmar to Moorhead through here, RRVW owns a short stretch of track, and BNSF has rights over it. |
