| On a bitter cold January day in 1994, Geneva Steel plant switcher 44 works the east side yard at the Vineyard mill. The little SW9 was transferred to Geneva from Utah's Carbon County Railway (CCRY 1202) by United States Steel in 1983. It would be retired and sold to Larry's Trucking & Electric by 2007. Nothing in this photograph remains at the site today. |
