| Getting photographs of trains on the Dean Forest Railway in the Forest Of Dean is notoriously difficult,mainly due to the density of the trees and undergrowth.One of the few places where it is possible is Middle Forge Junction,where the double track becomes single.Here we see a class 108 D.M.U. forming a service from Norchard to Lydney Town.The leading vehicle is M56492,which I was involved with during my time with British Rail,when I took part in an Emergency Services excercise at Gloucester in November 1991.Always nice to see old friends again ! |
