Seventeen years after the creation of the BNSF Railway, the heritage of its Needles Subdivision can be detected on the bridge at Siberia, California, as train Q-STOCHI6-05A heads east from Stockton CA to Chicago IL with a Guaranteed Service Intermodal cargo. The old Santa Fe markings on the dry wash bridge are faint, but a welcome sight nonetheless.
