Constantly on the guard for rattlersnakes and copperheads in an area heavily infested by snakes, a brakeman has written a reminder to future crews. The Royal Blue spur serves the International Paper chipmill loadout, just off the main Jellico Branch, and is serviced late at night. Many a crew over the years can attest to the number of reptiles seen up the hollows of this area of Appalachia.
