150 years anniversary of VR Finnish Railways. The 4-6-2 steamer provided daily services between Hyvink?? and Hanko during the anniversary weekend. For the trip with 10 stops at passenger stations along the line it needed 4 hours travelling time. Hr1 class is the largest passenger express steam locomotive, built in Finland between 1937 and 1957 and was in operating service till 1971. Twenty-two units were built. They were numbered 1000-1021.
