June 25, 1989 must have been my lucky day. Not only did have the opportunity to see and photograph Union Pacific's Geneva - Comstock ore train, but it would pass my vantage point with not one but TWO cabooses! The OGVCM glides west through a big sweeping curve, approaching the old Santana Raceway in Spanish Fork. Precious little remains of the previous winter's snowpack on 10,685 ft. Loafer Mountain.
