    Remarks & Notes
I was fortunate to catch one of General Electric's C30-S7R leasers heading up a Union Pacific coal train west on the Provo Sub on June 28, 1991. The 3007's service life began as Milwaukee Road U30C #5667 in August 1974. It was modified by GE to 'Super 7' status in 1991 and leased to the Union Pacific for 12 months. The upgrade program really didn't catch on and was dropped by General Electric.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
