| CN has started DP-ing this eastbound 570 local out of Ft. Dodge somedays when traffic is heavy. Here a late Ft. Dodge to Waterloo local has the 50 mph track speed in hand with a hefty 2 miles worth of train and 2 units on the head end and 1 GE 30 cars from the rear end. The train has just drop out of Williams in the far background, and will be Alden here in 5 miles behind me. The CN is roller coaster in Iowa! This train has 122 loads and 41 empties, 17320 tons and was 10063 feet long |
