| The CNW C628's didn't often tie up at the LS&I Eagle Mills shops, but on rare occasions could be found there due to problems on the CNW line to Escanaba or trouble at the mines. Also if awaiting an all-rail train to be loaded they could be found at Eagle Mills shop. I don't recall the reason for this appearance but it probably is the only day I shot a C628 set at Eagle Mills resting alongside LS&I power. With the C628's being only a couple of months from retirement the chances of many more encounters were slim. |
