It was cold enough during the previous night's storm for the snow to get all the way down to Devore, so this dusting at Blue Cut is not a surprise, but is still a welcome sight. With 85 loads and 15 empties (at 11284 tons and 6811' with locos; 6308' without locos), BNSF Railway train M-BARSBD1-09A (Regular Merchandise; Barstow CA to San Bernardino CA) passes through photogenic Blue Cut with, for power, a quartet of ES44DCs (7770, 7747, 7771 and 7760) and 3GS21C-DE switch engine 1310 up front, and ES44DCs 7719 and 7772 on the rear.
