| East of Skykomish, Wa. BNSF's Scenic subdivision uses the canyon of Foss River to gain elevation for its climb to Stevens Pass. At the head of this horseshoe lies the Foss River trestle.
In this photograph an east bound stack train's headlight illuminates the area around the trestle highlighting everything around. In just a few brief moments the train's passage will be complete and quiet will return to the Cascades. |
