| Soo 800 at Stevens Point. The Soo had parked most if not all of the ten U-boats as the economy underwent a slow period in 1975. The units had become kind of beat up looking since delivery in 1968 so the Soo ran the fleet through the paint shop at Shoreham while they were in storage. Nine of the ten came out with the new at the time Soo Parallelogram logo. This slide is from my collection, no photographer listed...perhaps Joe Stauber. |
