The Union Pacific rarely assigns manned helpers to assist eastbound trains from Ogden to Wahsatch on the Evanston Sub. On February 16, 2013 an SD40-2/SD70M combo shove a 188 car West Colton, CA to North Platte, NE freight east through Echo Canyon. The MWCNP 14 has two motors on the point with a single DPU cut in 125 cars behind the head end power. Love it!
