| How times have changed! Passing under old catenary wires from former BC Rail days, brand new technology to CN in the form of AC power easily handle a 110 car loaded Tumbler Ridge, BC to Prince Rupert Ridley, BC coal train down the main at Tacheeda on CN's Chetwynd Subdivision. Tacheeda was once where the BC Rail electric locomotives were cut off of Tumbler Ridge coal trains in favour of CN diesel power. CN ES44ACs 2812 and 2810 lead the way while 2809 and 2801 would bring up the rear helping the train make it over the roller coaster trackage of the former BCR. |
