| After interchanging with CSX at Parsons Yard in Columbus, I&O's Logan Line L3 crew returns to Lancaster as it passes the former Hocking Valley Railway depot at Canal Winchester. Prior to the G&W takeover of Rail America, I&O was suffering an identity crisis with a variety of its own paint schemes as well those of former locomotive owners. A week earlier this train would have been lead by IORY 5001 wearing a peeling and faded as acquired BN scheme. While Maryland Midland and Utah Railway fans may disagree, G&W orange is welcome here… |
