| A fine looking C-boat leads cowls from both EMD and GE into the late evening haze west of Fort Madison. Quite a difference in appearance from today's railroading with a nearly endless string of box cars. The ATSF main cut across a few miles of south east Iowa and then entered Missouri. This job was flying along and quickly put Iowa in its wake. |
