| The train on the left is parked off on a siding at RARE interlocking. This train has just finished its run from Newark Penn Station to South Amboy Station as train ID NJT 3509. After dropping off passengers at South Amboy it continued south another mile w/o passengers to this spot to allow a Newark to Long Branch train (ID NJT 3255) to pass (seen on right). Once NJT 3255 passes the train in the siding will push north to pick up passengers at South Amboy and head for Newark Penn Station as train ID NJT 3510. |
