| Departing and arriving First Scotrail services utilizing Class 170 DMUs pass each other at the west end of Edinburgh's Waverley Station as hints of autumn begin to appear in the trees of East Princes Street Gardens. The magnificent pile rising in the background is the landmark Balmoral Hotel, and the distant cylindrical tower is the Nelson Monument, named for Admiral Lord Nelson who perished during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. |
