| Well, things haven't exactly gone as planned for this westbound Empire Builder and its extra string of private cars. The train left Chicago nearly four hours late after having to bad order its dining car. As usual, the late train got later as the second unit began suffering from mechanical issues. On top of that, the crew wasn't sure they could make it to Minot before dying on hours. The train is seen here limping into Grand Forks on the power of the first unit. They had a long day ahead of them. |
