Remarks & Notes

The rain has stopped and a severe thunderstorm has moved out over the Atlantic as Florida East Coast train 222 races north through the Airport Road crossing near the Titusville Autoramp. As the end of train device rolled past and the signal gates started to come up, all of a sudden a huge lightning bolt fanned out across the sky above the train, surprising me to say the least. Yes, Florida is indeed the lightning capital of North America.
