Union Pacific's APSCOA (American President Line - Salt Lake City - Oakland) stack train roars west on the former Western Pacific mainline at 56th West in outer Salt Lake City. This rural landscape would change drastically when UP constructed the new 260 acre Salt Lake Intermodal Terminal here that opened on Sept. 21, 2006.
