Remarks & Notes

SD40-2 unit 250 leads SD40-2XRs 258 and 265 on the approach to Bozeman Tunnel, Montana, with an eastbound mainfest train. An SD70ACe/SD40-2XR/SD70ACe helper set is out of sight at the back of the consist, and in a few minutes will detach from the rear of the train near where the photographer is standing.
