Remarks & Notes

A unit rail train slowly makes its way toward the former Rio Grande yard with loads of 80 foot long rail bundled in packages of 5 rails wide and stacked 8 packages per car. This steel is 136 pound Nippon rail from the land of the rising sun and rolled in May of this year. In Pueblo it will be welded into strings of Continuous Welded Rail and sent somewhere along the massive UP system.
