| A restored English Electric car set from early 1950's approaches Tunnel 5 on the Johnsonville Branch. This line has a 2.5% gradient and is part of the original route from Wellington to Auckland. When the Tawa Deviation opened in 1937, this line ended at Johnsonville and was electrified. |
