    Remarks & Notes
I realized I've seen this engine for five years in a row: Train Festival 2009, Cuyahoga Valley (2010), Train Festival 2011, Oil Creek & Titusville (2012), and now here in 2013. This little tank engine was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the American Viscose company in 1924. It was used as a plant switcher in Roanoke. The locomotive was retired in the early 1960s and sold to Gem City Iron & Metal Company where it rested for 40 years. In 2004, the locomotive was purchased by Scott Symans and restored in less than three years. Now, the locomotive travels the country and gives the public the chance to operate a real steam locomotive.
