Remarks & Notes

Located just south of Clincho, Va, Sykes Mill Tunnel has seen many changes since being built in 1921. Its seen two railroad mergers (Clinchfield-Family Lines-CSX), changes in motives power (steam to diesel), but is still standing strong after 92 years of service.
