The Reading Blue Mountain & Northern (aka Reading & Northern) operates some former Lehigh Valley trackage in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Photographed in Pittston (on September 29th, 2013) is RBMN SW8 801, which is the former Lehigh Valley 276 - Back on home rails! Built by EMD in December 1952, LV 276 became one of Conrail's engines (8690) when that road was formed in 1976. CR 8690 later became Blue Mountain & Reading 801, and then the BMRG became the Blue Mountain & Reading.
