Rio Grande's Helper Local arrives at Provo Junction the morning of May 18, 1986. The weed choked trackage in the foreground belonged to the Salt Lake & Utah Railroad, an electric interurban line running 66 miles between Salt Lake City and Payson, abandoned in 1946.
