| A English Electric type 3 or as they where later (and still are) known as Class 37's Under British Rails TOP's system. And this photo shows West Coast Railways, 37685, on show at the National Railway Museum's celebration of the class reaching 50 years in service! They had five of the class on display which included the one that belongs to the museum! I got (along with others) got to drive one of these wonderful locomotives, some of which are still in service at 53 years old! I hope to post a photo of the actual loco that I had driven. I had to que for around 3 1/2 hours in order to drive the loco. |
